CLC Mechatronics Students Tour R+D

Mechatronics students visit R+D Custom Automation

We were pleased to host CLC (College of Lake County) mechatronics students earlier this month. The students came to tour our two facilities in Lake Villa, Ill. We walked students through both facilities and discussed how the mechatronics program equips them with the tools needed to be successful in the field of industrial automation.

The mechatronics program prepares students for careers in automation, robotics, and mechatronics via hands-on training and a structured curriculum. We currently have two recent mechatronics grads working here at R+D and always look forward to meeting new candidates!

Rate ✍ 90ppm Platform ✍ Precision Link Indexer Challenge to Solution ✍ Glass filled nylon claves were a challenge to work with using approved clean-room materials due to abrasion. The laser weld of the clave to the cassette was created internally to the part by crossing beams accurately at the correct angle.
