R+D Custom Automation awarded Laser Printing & Inspection System Contract. High-speed inspection at 220+ppm with integrated reject station. Design is underway and fabrication will begin early spring. R+D has built several printing & inspection systems for clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device space. Recently designed systems also have included serialization packages to comply with FDA regulation. Products manufactured on an assembly system that include serialization are traceable by lot number, manufacturing location, date of fabrication, and other custom criteria.
