Fiber Optic Laser Printing & Inspection System

Laser Printing & InspectionR+D Custom Automation has been awarded a contract for a laser printing inspection system. It will have high-speed inspection at 220+ppm, with integrated reject station. Design is under way and fabrication will begin early spring, 2017.

R+D has built several printing and inspection machines. Recently, we built systems for clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device space.

Recently designed systems also have included serialization packages to comply with FDA regulation. Products manufactured on an assembly system that include serialization are traceable by lot number, manufacturing location, date of fabrication, and other custom criteria.
