Machine Topic: Automatic IV Bag Making Machine💊

Description: R+D Custom Automation designed and manufactured two (2) fully automatic IV Bag Making Machines.  The machines were designed to produce ½ and 1-liter containers. There are 56 label configurations produced by changing perimeter die, hot stamp imprint plates, hot stamp foil and slit film types.  💡

Rate: 44 Parts per min.

Platform: Servo driven web feeding

Challenge to Solution: The challenge for this customer was achieving the rate on perimeter welding 1-liter bags with solid state equipment. Our solution was developing and patenting a method for applying power that reduces weld time and lowers energy usage.
