R+D Custom Automation designed and manufactured two fully automatic IV Bag Making Machines, built to produce ½ and 1-liter containers across 56 label configurations by changing perimeter die, hot stamp imprint plates, hot stamp foil, and slit film types.

Challenge to Solution

The challenge for this customer was achieving the target rate on perimeter welding 1-liter bags with solid state equipment. Our solution was developing and patenting a method for applying power that reduces weld time and lowers energy usage.
