Challenge to Solution

The challenge was accurately handling, loading, and threading glass cartridges to a plastic syringe housing at rate to meet equipment performance. Our solution was a custom loading station with a feed screw to accurately stage cartridges, along with a custom-designed threading station using servo motion and an encoder wheel sensor to thread cartridges to accurate torque specifications.
